How to Sell From Storage
Step-by-step guide to selling precious metals from vault storage.
To sell your metals, log in to your GBI Direct account and follow these steps: navigate to Sell, choose the assets you'd like to sell, enter the quantity, and confirm your order.
Settlement takes two full business days from the trade date. You can click on your recent trade to view full details including the settlement date. Once funds have settled, they will be available in your GBI Direct account for reinvestment or withdrawal.
Withdrawing is a separate step to be completed after funds have settled. Withdrawal options are:
- Check — Free of charge
- Bank Wire — $25 fee
Per AML requirements, funds must be returned to the same bank account used for your initial deposit.
