Settlement and Withdrawal of Sale Proceeds from Your GBI Direct Cash Balance Account
By default, the proceeds of any sale are deposited in your GBI Direct cash balance account. Each sell transaction take 2 business days to clear. At which time you may then take a withdrawal via check or wire to a bank account.
Check the "Settlement Date" of your Sell. .
There are several regulatory and operational reasons why you may not be able to initiate a withdrawal at a given time. Your funds must first fully settle in accordance with industry-standard T+2 clearing cycles; pending trades, unsettled proceeds, or account restrictions (including compliance reviews, KYC/AML verification, or holds related to suspicious activity) can temporarily limit your withdrawal eligibility. In addition, incomplete or unverified bank instructions, mismatched account ownership information, or outstanding documentation requests may prevent us from processing a check or wire transfer. If you are unable to withdraw as expected, please review your recent transaction activity, confirm that your bank details and account profile are current and accurate, and contact GBI support for assistance with resolving any outstanding issues.
