What methods are available for funding/deposit into my GBI Direct account?
Multiple funding options: wire
We offer several convenient funding options. Full payment details can be found by logging in to your GBI Direct account and visiting the Fund tab.
Non-IRA Accounts:
- Bank Wire — Same day or next day funds; available to both U.S. and international customers via U.S. Federal Reserve or SWIFT wires.
- ACH — U.S. customers only; funds typically take 4 business days to clear from the deposit date.
- Paper Check — Held for 7 days from the deposit date before clearing.
- Cryptocurrency — Available via BitPay with a 1% conversion fee. Deposits are converted to USD upon receipt. Please note that cryptocurrency withdrawals are not available.
IRA Accounts:
- Wire or check for contributions, plus IRA-to-IRA transfers or rollovers from a 401k.
