Is there a minimum investment?

There is no minimum amount to fund a GBI Direct account, and there is no minimum quantity on standard buy or sell orders. This applies to all account types and every order, whether for delivery or storage at any of our vaulting locations, with one exception:

New York charges sales tax on precious metal bullion purchases under $1,000 when delivered or stored within the state. As a result, GBI Direct requires a $1,000 minimum for purchases destined for the New York vault location.

Please note that MetalStream automatic monthly investments have a $25 per month minimum.
