Should I buy bars or coins?

We generally recommend purchasing the denomination that sells best in your market, as maximizing liquidity is an important consideration for minimizing the long-term costs of buying and selling. Bars tend to have the best liquidity internationally and often carry the lowest spread to spot prices, as their manufacturing costs and initial wholesale prices are lower.
