To review or add funds to your account, log in and go to the "Fund" tab.

IRA Accounts

Can I pay my IRA storage fees using non-IRA funds?

Yes. You have the option to pay IRA storage fees using non-IRA funds.

Why use non-IRA funds?
  • Preserve Your IRA Balance: Avoid depleting your retirement savings for administrative fees.

  • Tax Efficiency: Paying with personal (non-IRA) funds avoids triggering any taxable distributions from your IRA.

  • Flexibility: If your IRA has limited liquidity, using external funds ensures your storage remains uninterrupted.

How are storage fees typically paid for IRA accounts?

  1. Cash Balance: If there is cash in your IRA account, we will automatically use it to cover your storage fees.

  2. Non-IRA Payment (Check): You may also mail a check to cover the storage fees using non-IRA funds. These payments are reflected in the "Financial Balances" section of your account.
