Depositing and Withdrawing Funds from your GBI Direct Account

Funds must be deposited and withdrawn from matching account types per AML requirements.

To fund your GBI Direct account, payment must originate from a bank account in the same name as your GBI Direct account. Withdrawals can only be processed back to the bank account from which funds were originally deposited. This is in accordance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) laws and internal policies.

Please ensure your bank account name matches the name on your GBI Direct account. We recommend keeping your banking information simple — adding multiple bank accounts for deposits and withdrawals can be flagged by our compliance team, potentially causing delays or requiring additional verification.

In the event that your original funding bank account is closed, we will require proof of closure before processing a withdrawal to a new bank account. If you have any questions or need clarification, please contact our team directly.
